1)
to yammer, when somebody is talking for a long time in a way that is annoying and they are just going on and on
very often we use like, to yammer on, to yammer about something
it was a lovely summer's day and I was in class and the teacher was yammering on and I just wasn't listening
to talk incessantly about something
he always yammering about his boby even though nobody has ever listens to me
to talk persistently and boringly 
you talking at length about something that's just annoying other people
I listened to debate in parliament but the politicians just seems to be yammering on with their poinit of view
to talk foolishly in and incessantly

and then you can go further than that and you can use it for a loud noise that is repetitive
there was a jackhammer yammering ouside going on and on and on making this loud repetitive noise
I've got a terrible headache and my head is yammering, it's gong on and on doing it
it's got this idea of persisstence
this incessant noise again and again 
to repeat on and on and on
yammering noise of machinery in the factory meant it was very difficult to hear what anybody was saying
particularly something that is loud and repetitive
if you've ever driven long way, the yammering of the engine gets into your head
it's like a sustained loud repetitive noise

 

 

3)
if somebody's moaning about something, they keep yammering on about their problems
a loud consistent complaint 
just stop yammering and suck it up
to yammer, to whine, to moan, to complain in a peevish way 
to complain and go on
the kids were yammering about the fack that I hadn't bought them any sweets today
to yammer, to complain about something
the yammer of the builders downstairs was driving me crasy
