Squidge and Squish, theses are both verbs. 
to press something soft, particularly something that is wet
Both of thses are related to the word to squash something
you squish something that is soft

he squidged the piece of clay 

I squished through the mud

to squish , to squidge, to flatten 

if you see a cockroach running down the floor, you stamp on it you squish it or squidge it
