I think particularly gonzo journalism
when a journalist writes a report, normally it's supposed to be very objective not giving personal opinion and just giving the facts and letting the reader make up their mind
gonzo journaliism is the examt opposite of this, this is journalistic work that is very subjective
it's not impartial and it's not detached
very often gonzo journalism is where journalist is writing the article as a person who is taking part in what is happening
it's very subjective and it can be very over the top
it can be intended to shock and it's exciting to read rather than being informal, impartial and giving information
it's journalism which is very exaggerated which is very subjective and which is perhaps even fictionalized
the story and the writer's feelings at the time of the events are the most important things
the journalism or writing or journalistic article from one very specipic point of view
if the Prime Minister were writing about politics, maybe that would be a gonzo style
I am imagining the war in the Ukraine, maybe the journalistic reports written by a Russian soldier on the frontline or written by a Ukrainian soldier on the front time, it woudn't be objective and it would be subjective about how this person feels and about the things that they see. that is the idea of gonzo jounalism
