Irregular Plurals in English, ending in the letter i and e
notice, I think all of the ones we that end with a letter 'e', you can make into regular plurals
normally words that end 'us', the plural is 'i'
notice, almost all of these have disappeared as well
they are very few in that are still in use

I think with words that end with the letter e, the only one that I think is really still in use is formulae. this is very formal in itself
there are also not many of them now
formula, what is the formula for salt NaCl
one formula, two formulae. but you could perfectly well say formulars
formulas is much much more common than formulae
one formula or two formulae/formulas
Zucchini, ending in i
a zucchini, two zucchinie with an e at the end, but that is very unusual
a zucchini and two zucchinis
I would much prefer to make it a plural with 's'
a viola, two violas
you cna say two violi with an e.
it's possible but nobody uses that anymore
a pergola, an outdoor air area with wood going up and maybe a plant growing on it
a pergola, two perglas, but you could say two pergolae
a credenza, is a type of cabinet
a credenza, two credenzas / credenzae.

one nucleus, two nuclei
normally words that end 'us', the plural is 'i'
but I would think probably poeple will mostily say two nucleuses
a scenario, two scenarios, but you could say scenarioi as well
but I think scenarios is much more common
a duck-billed platypus, it's an animal that it's got like the break of a duck
a platypus, two platypi / platynuses
a radius of a circle
a radius, radii of these different circles
I'd probably say the radiuses
a virus, viruses, you could say too viri
a fetus, two fetuses, but you could use two feti but people don't use it

one fungus, two fungi that is a common one. that is definitely still used

a gnocchi, these potato things that you can eat, that is definitely a plural that you might use

a bacillus, two bacilli
a alumnus, two alumni that's definitely a plural. I would definitely use with i ending
