Mountebank, this is to talk about somebody who is a charlatan
somebody who pretends to be something they are not

somebody who has a revolutionary idea and at the beginning some people think this person is a genius and other think that this person is a mountebank
somebody who is tricking other people
somebody who tricks people by being very upbeat, happy and clever but actually what they are selling you is no good
it's a charlatan, a quack
a quack doctor is a mountebank doctor
somebody who cons people
the con man
a fake, a confidence trickster
somebody who is being boastful saying they can do something when actually they can't, that is a mountebank
they are making promises or claims that are not true or they are pretending to be something they are not
a charlatan, a trickster, a quack
a fake, a fraud, a faker, an imposter, a phoney, a con man
the world unfortunately is full of mountebank
