Conversant (Versant) : ~을 아는, ~에 친숙한, ~에 정통한

Versant :  산[산맥] 의 한쪽 경사면, (한 지방) 전체의 경사

a versant as an noun, this is an unusual word or unusual meaning
it's the slope of a range of mountains or the slope of a mountain
northern versant of the Himalayas points towards china and the southern versant points towards India
