Blazon : 알리다, 공표하다, 분명히 보여주다
Emblazon : (상징·문구 등을 보여주고 알리기 위해) ~에 선명히 새기다, ~에 선명히 장식하다[그리다]

to blazon, means to proclaim, to give out the news
he blazoned the news of his forthcoming marriage everywhere

to emblazon, to cover something or to decorate something in a very noticeable or showy way

Blazon, Emblazon, they are very close but I think they are slightly different

I think to blazon, to dispaly prominently or vividly
whereas, to emblazon, to inscribe or to display or to put a design on something

the badge was emblazoned with the insignia of the the prince of Wales
that badge blazoned the fact that he belonged to the inner circle of the prince of Wales 

the scandal was blazoned all over the media
the scandal was emblazoned on the front page of the newspaper
