Excise : (국내)소비세, 물품세, 삭제하다, 잘라내다, (의학)제거하다, 절개하다

Excision : 삭제, 적출, (의학)절개, 제거

 

Excise can be a noun and can be a verb

Exicision is a noun from excise, but as nouns between excise and excision have different meanings

 

 

1)

excise, as a noun, it's a tax that is levied on goods which are produced inside a country

not for things that are imported, those are customs duties 

excise duty on tobacco

excise duty on alcohol

excise duty on petro

excise duty on fuels

it's a tax which you the producer, the person who makes it has to pay it

normally excise tax is paid for unit produced
