Off the Blocks = Out of the Blocks : 출발점에서, 시작점에서

1)
Let's look at the world blocks, to start with this is referring to the starting blocks
in a sprint race, the athlete had this metal device where they put their feet, when they start running their feet don't slip and

these are the starting blocks
we could say, he was quick out of the blocks, he started very rapidly

2)
we normally use this metaphorically

out of the blocks, at the very starting position

this is used to describe how quickly or how slowy someone starts to do something or to succeed to do something despite diffiulty

off the blocks can be used interchangeably with out of the blocks

3)
I found lots of references to storm off the blocks
to stom off the blocks, to start really really rapidly
at the beginning of the race, he stormed off the blocks, he went really really rapidly
but you can use that metaphorically, to go very quickly or a very rapid beginning
this company stromed out of the block when it first started

he wanted to be first off the the blocks in marketing this new product, the first person to start
our company was very slow out of the blocks in developing this product
out of the block, talking about the beginning, the first phase of something
right out of the blocks this product was not very popular, when it first started

it was difficult to get off the start blocks
it was not easy to get off the blocks
he was a slow starter, he was very slow off the blocks

to be quick off the blcoks
to be slow off the blocks
to storm out of the blocks
right out of the blocks
to be first out of the blocks, the first one to do something
this product was really popular out of the blocks or off the blocks
I was last off the blocks to try to do this but I did it very well finally
