Contiguous : 인접한, 근접한

Contiguous 
-> next to
-> touching each other
-> usually something similar 
-> contiguous United States
-> loads of contiguous entities
-> sharing a common border
-> connected neighboring touching each other
-> can use this metaphorically, these idea are contiguous ideas they are next to each other 
-> very close each other but different 
-> formality 6.5 - 7.0
-> formal word

 

 

Contagious : (접촉을 통해)전염되는, 전염성의, 전염병에 걸린, (습관/분위기/기분)전염성의

 

Contagious
-> caught by touching
-> highly contagious, infectious 
-> contagious disease
-> can use this more metaphorically for example yawning
-> laughter can be contagious
-> fear could be contagious 
-> diseases spread easily 
-> feeling, attitude, atmosphere, mood can be spreaded
