I think the word hermaphroditic nowadays, to talk about something that has both male and female sexual organs
hermaphroditic talks about something with both male and female reproductive organs
for example, plants. there are many species of plants that have female flowers and male flowers and also hermaphroditic plants which have both male and female flowes and the male flower produce pollen and the female part flowers are fertilized by the pollen
I would use this hermaphroditic to talk about having both male and female sexual organs and other characteristic as well
